Women's Ministries
The Women's Ministries of Bibe Fellowship is a group that has been called to focus its ministry on the needs of women. Its purpose is two-fold:

  • To create opportunities for women to mature in their Christian walk through Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and meaningful activities.
  • To reach out into the community through friendship and caring. Our desire is to introduce women to our fellowship so that we might support and encourage them in Christian love and help them grow in their faith.

Bible Studies & Focus Groups
Women's Ministries offers several types of Bible studies for the purpose of study and encouragement from God's Word and for the support of each other through sharing and prayer. Childcare is available for many groups; a love offering is taken to cover the cost.

  • Small groups of 8-12 women meet weekly or bi-weekly in various homes or at the church for Bible study, worship, fellowship and prayer.
  • Focus Groups are small groups of women who seek support and encouragement because of particular circumstances in their lives with which they are dealing. Focus groups who meet regularly include:
    -
Amazing Grace Support Group -- This support group for women living with chronic pain or illness meets once a month for encouragement and prayer.

MOPS
MOPS stands for Mother of Preschoolers, an organization that recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs. MOPS helps moms experience God's love through caring relationships with other mothers. It also gives helpful instruction in areas of common interest presented from a biblical perspective. Find out more about this exciting new ministry by visiting www.mops.org. MOPS meets two times a month on Friday mornings from September-May. Childcare limitations restrict the enrollment in our MOPS program; call the church office for registration information.

Fellowship Coffees
Informal gatherings of women with a speaker or special activity and light refreshments. A great opportunity to get to know other women!

Special Events

A special time apart for women with music, fellowship and a guest speaker on a topic of spiritual significance to women. These events are usually held twice a year, at Christmastime and in the spring and provide a wonderful opportunity for outreach to neighbors or friends.

Heartstrings Mentoring Ministry

Based on Titus 2, mature Christian women are matched with younger ones to help them become all God wants them to be.

New Beginnings

Small, informal coffees are hosted to welcome newer ladies to our church and to share the purpose of Women's Ministries.

Women's Book Club

This a group for women who love to read! The club meets every six weeks or so to discuss a current book selection, chosen from a variety of Christian fiction by many different authors. Come for tea, treats and lively discussion.

Retreat

Bible Fellowship holds an annual Women's Retreat in the spring to provide a time of spiritual renewal and physical refreshment for almost 80 ladies each year.
