Our Mission: We are a biblical community advancing the gospel and pursuing Christ-like transformation.
We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all His energy, which so powerfully works in me. – Colossians 1:28-29
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. – Acts 1:8
Our logo depicts a cross hitting a pool of water which sends ripples to the outer edges of the pool. We believe God wants our church to make an impact on our community for Jesus Christ and ultimately that impact should touch the world. The greatest impact we can have is helping people continually become more like Jesus Christ.
Values are the core beliefs our church deems essential to carrying out God's mandate for making disciples. They shape and influence all that we do as a church as well as how we do it.
The Bible is God’s self-revelation of His character and His plan for the redemption of His people. We hold the Scriptures to be authoritative and without error. We deeply value the clear and accurate communication of God’s Word in a way that leads to salvation, administers grace, and urges faith and obedience to Christ.
God intends for each and every person to be in a process of becoming like Jesus Christ. We seek to allow the Holy Spirit to continually mature us into Christ’s image and to use us to encourage and celebrate that change in others.
Genuine biblical community means living in caring relationships that are guided by biblical truth and grounded in spiritual accountability. We value and intentionally develop environments where people can share and encourage each other toward spiritual growth through prayer and the study of God’s Word.
True worship is a lifestyle of responding to God’s revelation of Himself with body, mind and heart in ways that declare the greatness of who He is. Worship is God-centered, and through it we proclaim His worthiness as well as celebrate and communicate the gospel message.
Jesus commissioned us to extend His message of salvation and invite people to respond. Through our lives and words God desires to show His love to people in our community, region and world in ways that are relevant to their everyday lives.
Motivated by Jesus’ great love for us, we seek to extend that love to others through sacrificial service so that Jesus, and not us, receives the glory. Each believer in Jesus Christ has received spiritual gifts and should seek to identify and employ them in serving others.
We value prayer as an amazing privilege of speaking with God, a means of expressing and developing an intimate relationship with Him. We believe that prayer is essential to the health and direction of the church, that through prayer a church maintains its unity of purpose, and that apart from God we can do nothing.
Life on earth is a spiritual journey. We all decide whether we will choose to recognize Jesus Christ as Savior or choose to follow a different path. As a church we offer intentional opportunities so people can investigate the gospel and respond to its life-changing message.
Once a person has trusted Jesus Christ as Savior, he/she begins a life-long process of becoming like Jesus. This is called spiritual maturity.
We intentionally offer programs/ministries to assist people on this journey of becoming like Jesus. We believe worship, biblical community and service should be part of every believer’s life as they pursue Christ-like maturity. We encourage our people to live a balanced life with each of these elements present in his/her life. Over-extending in one of these areas to the exclusion of one of the others will hinder spiritual growth.
