Our Purpose:

We believe that Christ has called us to reach out to children and youth with God’s love. We consider this ministry a high calling and a sacred trust. Therefore, we are committed to doing everything within our power to protect these young people from the possibility of abuse or neglect.

“ I will now arise, says the Lord, I will protect them from those who malign them.” – Psalm 12:5

Who:

Any and all staff and volunteers must be KidsSafe certified before working with children or youth. We ask that volunteers have been regularly attending Bible Fellowship for six months before volunteering to serve in any ministry.

What:

This process involves reading through the handbook, filling out an application which includes permission for us to perform a background check. The application also asks for four references whom we contact to have them complete a form on your behalf. There is also a training class that you must attend for KidsSafe certification.

Handbooks and Application Forms are available in the church office, downstairs outside the elevator, and upstairs in the wall racks. They have bright green covers so they are easy to identify.
