Tom Allen grew up in Woodbury, New Jersey. He and his wife, Tammy, are both graduates of Philadelphia Biblical University, where Tom received his degree in Bible. At Dallas Theological Seminary Tom received his Masters in New Testament Studies. Tom has been a full-time professor in the Bible Department at Philadelphia Biblical University for 15 years and chairman of the Undergraduate Biblical Studies Division for the past 2 years.

Tom initially served as interim teaching pastor at Bible Fellowship while the Search Committee sought a Sr. Pastoral candidate. He joined the staff as teaching pastor on a permanent basis in June 2008. Tom has served as a teaching pastor at Chelten Baptist Church in Dresher, part-time pastor at Edgely Christian Church in Bristol and Associate Pastor at Community Bible Church in Irving, Texas.

Tom resides in Langhorne, PA with his wife and three children, Jordan, Bethany, and Moriah. He enjoys spending time with family, reading, traveling, sports and the beach. He has a heart for evangelism and brings energy and enthusiasm to his preaching style that reaches people, as well as strong biblical teaching that challenges believers.
